Delivery Driver/Warehouse Assistant

Rubberduck Bathrooms are a rapidly expanding company providing both a trade outlet and online sales. We are seeking a confident delivery driver & Warehouse Assistant to help us grow.

An essential part of this role will be delivering customer orders using the company van and prospective applicants must have held a driving licence for at least 8 years. This is a physically demanding role with a large degree of manual lifing and handling within the warehouse.

You will need to be well organised with an eye for detail and the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines. You must also have a strong work ethic and be able to use your initiative whilst also working well as part of a team.

The duties of the role include:

• Carry out goods-in checks upon receipt of all deliveries, maintaining accurate records and ensuring goods meet expected standards.
• Assist with loading and unloading delivery vans in a safe and timely manner
• Show competency in completing all procedures and records to maintain correct stock levels within the warehouse
• Deliver goods to customers homes in the local area
• Ensure orders are accurately prepared and loaded for delivery
• Carry out general and warehouse administration duties

Key Requirements:

• Must have a good standard of literacy and numeracy
• Clean driving licence
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role
• Forklift licence preferable.

Although experience is beneficial, it is not necessary as training will be given on the job.

Hours of work : Monday - Saturday on a rota basis, working 8am to 4pm five days a week (37.5 hours per week)
