A walk-in shower enclosure is constructed by combining a suitable shower tray and a walk-in shower glass panel to deflect and contain the water within the shower tray.
Within this section of you will find a wide range of walk-in shower glass, you will also require a shower tray to complete the walk-in shower. Glass panels used for a walk-in shower can also be used for as wetroom shower screen.

Walk-in Showers
Walk-in showers are available in a vast number of sizes to suite most bathroom spaces.
A walk-in shower is a stylish and unobtrusive. Their door-free design doesn’t impact on other bathroom fittings. If you love nothing more than an open and spacious showering experience, then a walk-in shower provides a truly luxurious option. A walk-in shower has the look of a wetroom but uses a shower tray instead of wetroom tanking.
How to make a walk-in shower
To make a walk-in shower, you will require either one or 2 pieces of walk-in shower screen glass and a shower tray, normally either a walk-in shower tray or a rectangle shower tray. The minimum opening required is 550mm for most applications (but you may choose to have a larger or smaller opening depending on your own personal requirements) meaning the size of the wetroom glass screen you require is determined by the size of the shower tray you can install.
For example if you were to replaces a 1700 x 700 bath which is installed wall to wall with a 1700 x 700 shower tray, the largest piece of glass you could install would be 1150mm. If your walk-in enclosure is in the corner of a room and not wall to wall and for example 1500 x 800 floor space was available, a 1500 x 800 tray would be required and you would require a maximum 950mm screen for the 1500mm side and a 800mm glass screen for the end of the tray, you would then enter through the 1500 side of the tray.
Can walk-in Shower Screen be used in wetrooms?
Yes wetroom shower screens and walk-in shower screen are the same, these screens can be installed to a wetroom floor (tiled or viynl flooring) or installed on a shower tray.
