IMPORTANT GUIDELINES – PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING

  1. All goods should be checked upon receipt and notification of any damages or discrepancies should be received within a reasonable time frame. If you feel you do not have the ability to check for damages/discrepancies within this window, give us a call or sign for the items as damaged if you can't get through and report any issues to us in writing ASAP. Anything reported beyond this time frame could affect your claim.

  2. Delivery dates are given in good faith but are estimates only and subject to change based on information provided by the manufacturer. The seller shall not be liable to make good any damage or loss whether arising directly or indirectly out of delay in delivery.

  3. Tradespeople and any proprietary work SHOULD NOT be arranged until goods are received and checked for damages or discrepancies. Rubber Duck Bathrooms will not accept liability for any 3rd party costs incurred as a result of any delays in dispatch or incorrect fitments of ordered items (please check measurements prior to ordering to avoid these instances).

  4. Delivery will be made to the nearest hard road point. Carrier staff will generally be as helpful as possible but they will need assistance with heavy loads and unfortunately they are NOT insured to carry goods inside the property. If a courier is helpful enough to bring an item inside the property it is done so at the customers risk and it will be down to the customer to ensure proper floor/wall protection is in place prior to placing the items. Any property damage incurred as a result of bringing an item inside the property will not be covered by Rubber Duck Bathrooms Ltd, the manufacturer that supplied said items nor the courier that delivered them.

  5. Any advice given by our sales team is given in good faith and is based on information provided by the customer at the time of the call and by the manufacturer product info provided. While our team is on hand to offer advice where possible, we cannot know what you require with 100% confidence. If there are questions about an order or fit that would influence a change in your order with us or any other party, we would advise seeking advice from a qualified individual who was familiar with the job at hand and could visualise any factor that would influence a purchasing decision.

  6. Deliveries from the manufacturers we connect to are done so typically between 7 am and 6pm and fulfilled either by their own dedicated service or 3rd party carriers i.e. Royal Mail, Parcel Force, FedEx, UPS, DPD etc. At times deliveries may arrive earlier or later depending on current service demand.

  7. Carrier staff are carrier staff only, they are generally as helpful as reasonably possible but do work to strict timelines and should not be held up while delivering any items. If items are delivered on a pallet service, the pallet is to be disposed of by the customer once the items have been checked for any damage or discrepancies. If items cannot be delivered i.e. due to persons not being present to sign for delivery, any additional delivery charges applied by the manufacturer will be chargeable to the consumer.

  8. The risk of the goods passes to the customer from the time of delivery to the customer or any carrier or agent acting on the customers behalf. If you are leaving the items with a neighbour or another 3rd party, they will need to be notified of the procedures for checking damages/discrepancies and reporting them in the timeframes mentioned.

  9. We operate the standard 28 day UK returns policy. You can cancel your order within 14 days of receipt and then you have another 14 days to return the item to us. For the return of any goods, the return must be accepted by us prior to sending said item or arranging a courier to collect said item. Unwanted items are to be returned to us at your own cost. If items are received after 14 days from confirmation, we will not be able to accept the return and a refund will not be offered.

Frequently asked questions

Q: What payment methods do you support?
A: We currently process payments using Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, Mastercard Debit and Maestro externally through the SagePay payment gateway.

Q: Do you offer finance or a buy now pay later service?
A: We are looking to introduce a finance/buy now pay later package across our website in the future however, we don't currently support finance or buy now pay later as part of our service. While we are working on adding a finance package in the not too distant future, we did find that with most providers customers can get a better deal (in terms of interest paid over time) if bought VIA credit card rather than buying through high interest rate finance providers.

Q: Are Rubberduck Bathrooms affiliated with Steve Duck?
A: 
No, we are not affiliated with Steve Duck in any way. Steve Duck's company is called Integral Collection. Rubberduck Bathrooms Ltd does not have any connection or affiliation to Integral Collection or Steve Duck.

Q: Are you part of Rubberduck Bathrooms in Solihull, Stockport or Amazon?
A: No, we are not related to these companies. We are Rubberduck Bathrooms Ltd and not to be confused with any of the above.

Q: Do you offer a fitting service?
A: Yes, we currently employ a number of local fitters/designers who offer design and installation services in the Teesside area. If you want to know more about this service give us a call.

Q: When should I book my plumber/fitter?
A:
 We strongly advise that all customers wait until all goods are received and checked prior to arranging any tradespeople on site or performing any preparatory work. Rubber Duck Bathrooms will not accept liability or offer compensation for any 3rd party costs incurred as a result of delay on receipt of goods. We always endeavor to deliver our bathroom items ASAP and without damage but sometimes items may be lost or suffer damage in transit and/or be delayed by the manufacturer without notice. 

Q: I want to order, but I don't have a plumber yet! What do I do?
A:
 You can still take advantage of our low prices take delivery of the goods and then ensure you have everything ready for when the plumber arrives. We recommend all customers buy all items and check them prior to arranging tradespeople on site.

Q: Can I order from anywhere in the world?
A:
Rubber Duck Bathrooms Ltd distribute to mainland UK, Scotland and Wales. Extra delivery charges may apply for non-mainland, Grampian or highland addresses.

Q: What are your delivery times?
A
: Many of our items are available for next working day delivery but most are expected to be delivered within 3-5 working days.

Exact delivery times will depend on the item(s) you order, the quantity requested and the manufacturer(s) that supply said item(s). Customers will be contacted by email with a delivery date once the order has been accepted and placed with the manufacturer(s). Any tracking numbers provided by the manufacturer(s) for the couriers used will also be supplied as soon as we receive them.

Please ensure you have supplied a valid telephone number, as couriers may call you to arrange a delivery window. Next Day Delivery refers to the next working day when placed before 2pm (stock depending).

Q: Can you supply me with a particular item I have seen elsewhere?
A:
 Most likely yes! We've been in the trade for 20+ years and as such hold accounts with most of the bathroom manufacturers operating in the UK. Give us a call and we'll see if we can source the item you need.

Q: Why are your prices so much cheaper than my local showroom?
A: As we've been in the trade for over 20 years, we have great working relationships with the best bathroom manufacturers operating in the UK. With the volume of items we sell on their behalf, they kindly offer us favourble rates and because we work on a very low-profit margin the savings are passed on to you the customer. Which means we all benefit!

Q: Can I have my items delivered to my place of work or friend's house?
A:
Yes that's no problem at all! We can post your items to a different postal address but for security, your billing address must match your credit or debit cards billing address. A signature would be required on delivery and be sure to have them check for damages or discrepencies ASAP as outlined in the terms and conditions.

Q: I own a plumbing business, do you do trade accounts?
A:
We can offer trade customers a trade account, which makes you eligible for discounts on larger orders. We already discount single items heavily across the site for all customers but there are occasions with larger orders where we have some room to offer further discounts. Please contact us for more information and terms and conditions on these instances.

AFTER YOU HAVE ORDERED

Q: What if I find things are damaged when delivered?
A:
In most instances the manufacturer will supply a new item and collect the damaged one, so long as the damage is reported within a reasonable time. Please check all items on receipt as we cannot replace/refund any items, damaged on not, if they've been made use of in any way. Please see section 5 in our terms and conditions for full info on damaged goods during transit.

Q: What if you are unable to deliver in the agreed time scale?
A
: Like any other company that sells across the UK we may be let down by suppliers, transport, or other reasons beyond our control. If we let you down and we can't get a full order out in the time frames necessary, (we're very sorry!), any items that have been delivered can be collected and we can offer a full refund. The refund will be refunded within 30 days (usually 24 hours) to the card used in the initial order process.

Q: How long is your warranty?
A:
 All goods supplied by Rubber Duck Bathrooms Ltd. come with a minimum 12 month manufacturer warranty. Many items have an extended manufacturer warranty, please see the manufacturer terms and conditions for more info on these. When products are stated as having a longer warranty, these are covered by the manufacturer in question and not Rubber Duck Bathrooms Ltd. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Q I've lost my order details - what can I do?
A:
Log in to your account on our website and you can retrieve and print all the details you need. If you can't remember your log in details, give us a call, let us know the name used on the order and we'll do the rest.

Q: Will all my goods be delivered together or separate?
A:
 A large proportion of the goods we sell are delivered direct by the manufacturer themselves, they will endeavour to deliver within a single trip but on occasion do need to send out in seperate trips due to stock availability, driver hours etc.. For items sent from our warehouse, we always try to deliver all your items together but in certain circumstances, such as items being out of stock for long periods, we will deliver your goods in separate consignments.
