Job Opening: Bathroom Fitter / Joiner / Plaster / Tiler Assistant

In order to meet demand for our installation service, we are looking for a qualified plumber/bathroom installer assistant to join our team of employed bathroom fitters.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate previous experience of working on your own and part of a team with limited supervision in domestic settings. Preference will be given to those candidates who can provide evidence of skills in the following areas of practical work: Plumbing, carpentry, dry lining, plastering, floor and wall tiling. A good working knowledge of requirements for plumbing trades would also be a considerable advantage. Candidates would also be expected to have their own hand tools, more specialist equipment will be provided. Ability to drive is essential.

The successful applicant must work to a very high standard and be capable of working with the more demanding aspects of fully fitted bathrooms. The ideal candidate will also be well-mannered and presentable, able to politely converse with customers and willing to go the extra mile. The successful candidate will with with and along side experence bathroom installers as an assitant but will grow into a more seniour position. The candidate will also be expected to work on there own from time to time and develope and demonstrate exsisting skills ie tiling / plastering. The candiade will also help out with deliveries and collection or material needed for installation jobs and supply only job to other trades and customers.

Salary dependent on experience.
