Porcelain Tiles

Porcelain tiles are ceramic tiles commonly used to cover floors and walls, with a water absorption rate of less than 0.5 percent which makes them perfect for bathrooms and wetrooms. They can either be glazed or unglazed.

Porcelain tiles are harder than ceramic which offers greater design flexibility. Although both ceramic and porcelain tiles are made from clay and other naturally occurring materials fired in a kiln, the clay used to make porcelain tile is more refined and purified resulting in a better finish.

Porcelain Tiles

Porcelain tiles are man made using natural materials.

They are extremely hard wearing and do not require sealing or maintanence associated with natural marbles and travertine. They are suitable for almost any application including bathrooms and wetrooms.

Porcelain Floor Tiles

It is important to be aware that porcelain tiles are stronger than ceramic tiles and require a tiler to cut them with a wet cutter or a tile cutter specially designed for porcelain tiles.

We also offer a range of Tile Adhesive, Tile Grout, Tile backing boards, Tile trims, Tile Spacers and Tanking Kits to aid the installation, these come in a range of colours and styles to match all finishes.
