Bayswater
Bayswater London W.2. Bayswater is a brand of beautifully designed Victorian and Edwardian Style bathroom ranges including porcelain, brassware, furniture and fittings.
The Great Exhibition of 1851 was held in Crystal Palace in Hyde Park and was a triumph of Victorian ingenuity that served to showcase the amazing inventions of the time. From the Christmas card to the flushing toilet, the Victorians were mothers of inventions. Bayswater products are both aesthetically and technically inspired by this historical period of innovation and development. And so we bring you the Bayswater range to sit alongside the numerous and varied inventions brought to us by the Victorians, in a modern and surreal version of the Great Exhibition of 1851.

Comfort Height Toilets
Comfort Height Toilets are also known as raised height toilets as the toilet pan is height then a standard toilet. Having a taller toilet makes the use of a toilet more comfortable for people who are taller and for the elderly. Comfort height toilets offer a taller raised height seating position. The height of a comfort height toilet is typically 6cm taller than standard toilets. Making it easier for the taller population, the elderly and disabled to use the toilet.
Comfort height toilets
The Main difference between a Comfort Height toilet and a regular toilet is that it that a Comfort Height toilet has a higher seat. A regular toilet has a height of about 400mm to the seat base. However, a toilet designed for an elderly person, or someone who needs more assistance in the bathroom, has a seat with a height of around 455mm from the floor to the base of the seat.
Ideal for less able or taller individuals these toilets reduce pressure on your knees and back when sitting or standing up, but many people fit them for the simple reason that it provides a comfortable sitting position.
