Mermaid Laminate Panel Sealant

The Mermaid panel sealant is specifically designed to create a waterproof seal around the Mermaid wall panels and connecting profiles.

Mermaid sealant is a neutral curing sealant specifically designed to be used with Mermaid laminate wall panels. Unlinke other sealants, Mermaid panel sealant does not contain any solvents which can cause damge to the boards over time. When installed as per manufacturer instruction the Mermaid wall panel sealant will ensure a watertight seal around the boards and profiles.

Usage:

It is recommended to use one tube of sealant for every two 1200 x 2400mm Mermaid laminate panels.

PLEASE NOTE: Mermaid deliveries are fulfilled direct by the manufacturer and offer a single person delivery to the kerbside only. Please ensure an able-bodied person(s) will be present at time of delivery to assist in taking in the goods.

Panels should always be stored flat and indoors to avoid bowing.

Panels must be thoroughly inspected upon receipt for damage or visible defects. The panels are supplied with a protective clear film to the decorative face, this should be peeled back to check for damage or discrepancies in colour where necessary then replaced to provide protection during commencing installation.

Do not install panels that you find to be defective.

Once the panels or profiles have been cut or installed we regard this as an acceptance of their quality and suitability for purpose and therefore we cannot accept any subsequent claims for faults or damage.

Prior to installation the panels, adhesives and sealants should be conditioned for a minimum of 48‐72 hours in the area in which they are to be installed or an environment of similar temperature or humidity.
