The paper on this adhesive tape is slit into two strips. The upper strip is removed to allow the installer to 'hang' Aqua strap in the correct position. this process is made simple because the lower paper strip remains in position to protect the adhesive allowing the installer to handle the lower sufaces of the product without sticking to it!

Furthermore, this first fix 'hanging' process not only allows the installer the opportunity to remove and reposition the tape on the surface in the event of initial misalignment, but allows the installer to progressively 'press out' potential air pockets during the second fix 'bonding' process.
